Cognizant is a very big name in IT industry, this company has decided to give salary hikes to its employees even when the IT industry is struggling. Around 80% of eligible employees will get a pay raise and will start from November 1, 2025.
Most of these hikes will be for people working up to the Senior Associate level. The hike amount will depend on how well the employee has performed and the country they work in. If we talk about Indian employee they will get a hike of around high single-digit percentage. The best performers will get the biggest raises.
Earlier this year, Cognizant also gave some of the highest bonuses in the past three years. Even with the lazy market, the company is still hiring in good numbers, especially fresh graduates in India, and plans to hire more in 2025.
This move shows that Cognizant values and rewards its employees’ hard work, even when times are not easy for the IT sector.
